You can call me the sneaky daughter. I convinced my parents I wouldn’t be seeing them for another year and they fell for it! Twenty-four hours later, and I arrived in Canada all the way from New Zealand. Queenstown had been my amazing home for the past 2 years and my time was up due to visa requirements. As I fly to my new home for the next year (it’s a secret!) I decided I should fly past Canada and surprise my parents! I made a cute little video showing their reactions, they were pretty pleased! If you’re gone for a year or so, I highly suggest surprising your parents. It’s entertaining, exciting and funny, and it’s not something you get to do every day! If you enjoyed my video please give it a like or a comment! Thanks for watching, until next time!
What’s up everyone! Just completed another hike, and I’m proud of this one. Rob Roy Glacier. I was sick, my throat hurt and exausted, but I did it! Rob Roy Glacier hike is about an hour drive from Wanaka. The hike takes about 5 hours round trip, and it’s absolutely epic! It’s definitely the hike that reminded me the most of Canada. And anything that reminds me of Canada is a good hike. Probably because we have some of the most epic hikes over there! The hike was decently easy, although I was panting like a sick dog. I was being super slow at the beginning enjoying the views, but I’d definitely suggest making sure you complete this hike, because it was absolutely stunning. Along with Hooker Valley and Tongariro Crossing, add this to your list of hikes to do in New Zealand!
I also made a video! Which i’m definitely trying to do more of! Be sure to watch it and let me know what you think in the comments below 😀 I’ll also be doing another part to this blog post and adding all of my beautiful photos!
If there’s one thing to do in Moeraki, it’s to visit Fleurs Cafe. Our Airbnb host told us all about this cute cafe right in town, and we had to check it out. Note to you, always ask locals what cool spots there are around town, they know best! This cafe is literally the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! Writing on the walls, quirky tea cups, rustic wood and amazing food, what more could you ask for. We pretty much took over the upstairs and moved tables around to get some cool shots, the waitress probably thought we were ridiculous, but we had fun. We ordered the 5 filets of fish with steamed veggies, which was absolutely delicious, and the best creme brulee I’ve ever had in my life. It came with a horrible belly ache afterward, but once in a while, it’s nice to get a belly ache from a delicious treat right?
Moeraki is actually so cool with all the old quirky things in town, we found the coolest beige truck and it made for a great prop for some photos.
I hope you enjoyed checking out my adventure to Moeraki Boulders and Fleurs Cafe! We had such a great relaxing weekend. If head to New Zealand, the Moeraki Boulders are definitely on the top 10 things to do in this beautiful country! Stay tuned for my next adventure.

My Fiji Movie
Since I just got back from Fiji, I thought It was time to whip up a “My Fiji Movie”. From jet skiing, to snorkelling, tanning on the beach to sipping’ on Pina coladas, I can easily say I had an amazing time in Fiji. I landed in Nadi, took a taxi over to Denarau and lived in a princess. After staying there a few night, I headed over to Matamanoa to hang out on the coolest Island. In my past travels I’d always done backpacking and non-relaxing holiday, so I was happy to have a princess holiday booked! It took a day, but I got the “Fiji time” walking pace on point. By the last day I was walking slower than a grandpa would walk, I was so chill!
One of my favourite parts of the entire trip was the helicopter ride! I have never been on one, and it was such a surreal feeling. I think it’s something I’m going to be doing everywhere! Waking up for sunrise and getting a massage was also spectacular. Ahh too many good moments, check out My Fiji Movie to see how amazing this place is!

"Find a group of people who challenge and inspire you; spend a lot of time with them, and it will change your life."
With that quote said, I’d like to start this post with how important friendship is. I had the absolute best time ever at Fat Freddy’s Drop in Queenstown, the music was amazing, the drinks were delicious and the vibes were on point. But what made this day so special for me, was that I knew so many amazing people at this concert. Walking 10 feet an recognizing another friend and giving them hugs was the best feeling in the world.
The hard part of traveling is that I’m always on the move and never keep friends around for too long because I’m traveling onto the next location. I’ve kinda stuck around Queenstown for over a year now, and have met some incredible people. Although I’m excited to travel onto the next place whenever the time comes, I can’t help but absolutely love my life in Queenstown. Cheers to all you beautiful people around me, you make me so extremely happy!
I’ve made a small youtube video of my Fat Freddy’s Drop adventure in Queenstown, check it out!
