Cheers to my first Mexico blog post! Chichen Itza was absolutely stunning and is definitely a MUST when in the area of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. If you’re going to type it into google, I can almost guarantee that auto-correct will tell you it’s “Chicken itso, but it’s definitely Chichen Itza!

It’s a little over 2-hour drive from Tulum, a popular bohemian vibe town that I absolutely fell in love with. From smoothies to pina coladas on the beach in your hammock, there’s absolutely nothing else you could ask for! The best thing to do when in Tulum is to rent a bicycle, this allows you to roam around the entire beachside and town and check out all the best places – but also get exercise! But I’m getting ahead of myself, let’s keep talking about Chichen Itza.

There’s probably going to be a lot of people at the historical site when you are they, so I recommend brushing up on your “editing people out of your photo” skills. That is if you want to make it seem like you were the only one there. I’m no expert,  but I tried to make it seem like I was the only one there with photoshop! Let me know what you think.

Personally, visiting Chichen Itza was one of the highlights of my adventure in Mexico. In saying that I would definitely put it high up on your adventure list if you are in the Yucatan Peninsula.

Have you been to Chichen Itza? Did you love it? Did you edit all the people out of your photos?

Love!!! I totally didn’t think about the editing people out of the pics. I was lucky enough to snap a few shots as people just got out of the frame. I can tell you tho I would’ve loooooved to climb that baby!
