It’s time for an adventure, come along! Today we are headed to Doi Inthanon, it’s the highest mountain in Thailand at 2565m. At the top of the mountain there are 2 adjacent chedis, each representing the 60th birthdays of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. The views at the top of the mountain are AMAZING! It almost feels like the end of the world is right there behind the cliff. The clouds are magical! There’s one clear road all the way to the top, but there are also many side roads and waterfalls, and I totally checked them out. I drove up with my scooter of course, because the cheapest tour cost was 1300 Baht, and i’d rather not be with a tour. I’ve got a scooter I rented for 85 Baht per day because I rented it for a whole month, and just filled up my gas tank and I was on my way. The fees to get into Doi Inthanon National Park were about 500 Baht and TOTALLY worth it! Doi Inthanon is a 2 hour drive from Chiang Mai and I’d 100% suggest visiting it! Enjoy my photos below!
